Are you a B-RAT?

I just want to make a shout out to all those who have been initiated into the "Boston Rough And Tumble" (B-RAT) Club.

Boston started this club when he was just a little B-squirt at 6 months old and would maneuver himself into situations that would give mama a heart attack.

He likes to do things to keep you on your toes just to see if you are as tough as he is ~
- like jumping off the coffee table onto the couch that's a little too far away (when you're a foot from him and look away for that one second).

- or finding a new way to go down the slide which results with him landing on his face (both of which has happened numerous times).

- Or climbing into his car seat while it's in the house and falling over hitting his head on the wall.

- He also likes to climb on the window sill and jump off onto the couch, jump into the pool whether someone is near or not.

Lucky for me he does a little count off before he plunges and I usually hear it and can catch him before he gets hurt, usually.

I didn't get to witness this, but he took one for the team at Kalli's Birthday Party. He was the first one to go on the slide after it had rained. He shot out of it like a bullet and caught some air. I guess after he landed he couldn't decide if it was fun or hurt. I saw him just as he was running away with wet pants and new found toughness. It was now safer and drier for the rest of the kids.

He also likes to fit himself through the banister and talk to you holding on with one arm. I had to find a way to prevent this from happening. I think I still have an ulcer from this.

We have about 14 members going strong. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact me and I will drop him off at your house for an hour. That's all it takes.

Rosa and Bronson Pauper

My good friend got married an Saturday, November 10th and Miah and I had the pleasure of attending the reception.

The happy couple. Rosa made a gorgeous bride.

The ring ceremony. They were sealed earlier in the day and had a ring exchange at the reception.

Rosa and I.

It was so fun to dress up. I really love that Miah "dressed up" is jeans and a nice button up shirt (I love his non-comformist side ~ it makes life so fun). It reminds me of when we lived in Los Angeles and used to be a bit trendier. I love this shirt he's wearing. You can't really tell in the picture, but it's embellished and has great stitching. Babe, you're such a hottie!!!!

Puppy Sitting

We puppy sat our friend, Josh's, 12 wk puggle on Friday. What a fun little dog. Her name is Abu (short for Abudancia~ spanish for Abundance) and she made a nice little home in my pile of laundry on the living room floor. She was definitely spoiled in my care and we loved every minute of it.

Boston loved taking her for a walk and she loved to follow Boston around! Babies and puppies make the world a better place!!!

Like Daddy like Boston

We went to the bank yesterday and while I was in line daddy sat on the chair and got a newspaper to read. Boston saw dad and went to the table, got a paper and went and sat down and read his section. I think they had a little discussion of the current events afterward. I can't get enough of this little guy!

I only had my cell phone to take pics on so they are a little small, but I was so grateful to capture the moment.

Spooky Family Pics

Here's a pic of Miah and I as a trees (the Forest's~ get it?) and a clothesline 2 years ago. I had to add a picture of us dressed up so you know that we aren't totally blah because we haven't dressed up since Boston was born. See, we used to be fun!!!!

We spent Halloween with some good friends of ours. Maybe next year we'll talk the adults into dressing up.

Us~

Tasha, Nate, and Kalli ~

Jamie, Michael, Jessa and Presley~

Halloween~

Last night we went to a street by the beach that is closed down so kids can safely trick or treat. It was so fun and the houses has some amazing decorations. I have decided that when my kids are older, I want to be one of "fun" houses and go all out for all Holidays~ it just looks like so much fun!!!!

This is how bees learn to fly~ right?

B the bee, Kalli the pig, and Jessa as Minnie Mouse.

Boston wasn't as interested in the candy as he was in trying to go into EVERYONE'S house.

Got the buckets and ready to go.

I think I'll take this one, and this one, and. . .

Kalli's Halloween/Birthday party

We had to pleasure of attending Kalli's third birthday party with a Halloween theme. We painted pumpkins, went to the park, hit a pinata and ate lots of pizza, candy, and cupcakes. It was SO much fun. Happy Birthday Kalli!!!

B's first haircut (trim)

Boston needed a haircut, but there was no way we were going to touch those curls. We went to St. George last week for a couple of days and are so fortunate to have an amazing hair stylist in the family. Jeremiah's little brother is married to Aubrey, who did a excellent job on little man's hair.
