Debbie's surprise birthday dinner

We LOVE surprises. Thanks to Albert, we were able to get Debbie to meet us all out at Mangia Bene for a birthday dinner. The food was fabulous and the company even better. Happy Birthday, Debbie.

Do you think she knew ???

Tiramisu with a candle after a big bowl of pasta. It just doesn't get any better.

Kim's birthday at 6:45 am

So, apparently my friends thinks it's fun to kidnap other friends on their birthday at 6:45 am and take them to breakfast. I have to say that it was a ton of fun. Here is a rundown of the whole escapade. Too bad I won't be here for my birthday!!!! Happy Birthday Kim!

Time to wake up!!!!

It's always good to take as many pictures as you can while they are still in bed.

Jen doing a little coaxing to get Kim up.

YAWN!!! And she up. Mission accomplished.

At Mimi's Cafe for some birthday breakfast. Unfortunately I had to head off to work and missed the cake. Maybe next time.

My baby shower

I love friends and babies and parties and food!!!!! I had the most fabulous baby shower thrown for me hosted by Tasha and Debbie. So many people pitched in to help with food and it was delicious. My little girl is so spoiled. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me and for all of the food and gifts!!!

Talking to Pam

Kendrea and Debbie talking about the gorgeous cupcakes that Debbie made.

I spent way too much time around the food table. I should socializing more (At least Jen and Nannette joined me)

Carly's Baptism

We had the pleasure of going to Carly's baptism at the end of February (I'm catching up on my posts- though I still didn't do Thanksgiving or Christmas yet- AHHHHH) in Redlands. We always have so much fun visiting with the other Cali cousins. I downloaded these pictures in the wrong order and am too tired to fix it.

He's still hot even when he makes faces!!

Eating fro yo outside at Nubi (and I thought the craze was out of control in the OC- it's infiltrated inland).

The group with their fro yo after a GREAT dinner of tacos. Thanks Ron for treating us and Jackie and Auntie Rae for the yummy food.

Boston and Carly with the newest cousin, Kaniela.

What a cute little boy with his mama!!!

Carly and Boston hanging out on the patio. B LOVES his cousins.

Carly looking beautiful in her baptismal dress.

The train trip

Playing catch up!! Here is a trip on the train that we took with friend's down to Oceanside in Jan (I know- I'm such a slacker).

Waiting for the train at the San Juan Capistrano depot.

As Boston would say "I want to get it in on the train". Here we gettin in it on the train!!!!

Mama getting some of that lovin feeling!

Some of the scenery on the Oceanside Pier right before lunch at Ruby's.

There were so many pelican's perched randomly around the pier. I couldn't believe how big they were. We also saw some fishermen catch a stingray and throw it back. What an eventful day!

Photo shoot

I haven't taken many photos of me while pregnant. One day, feeling especially cute (which is rare these days and why I've shied away from the camera) I decided to use the timer and FINALLY take some pics of my HUGE belly. Boston was watching me and I asked him if he wanted pictures taken of him too. He started to pose and I got a view of what I looked like to a 2 year old taking pictures of myself.

Sedona, AZ

AHHHHH! I haven't blogged for 2 months and have so much to catch up on. Here is our latest, last minute, and very spontaneous trip to Sedona, AZ. It was amazing.

Hike to Bell Mountain

It was more like a slow stroll. Hiking isn't the term to use when you have a 2 year old and prego mom.

Some of the scenery just driving through the town.

Spa time.

Boston is just chillin on a chair.

View of Sedona from a look out point.

Strolling though the shops. We had the BEST lunch at the Wild Flower Bread Company.

Cheese!!!

B trying his hand at photography. He did pretty good. Still have to download pics from that camera. He got a good shot of me and Miah.

More scenery

Indian Fry bread. DELICIOUS!!!!

Fry bread booth. Reminds me of home (NM).

Montezuma's Castle. These are some Indian ruins that were built in the 1400's.

Beautiful!

We took a more indirect route back through Phoenix and came across a dozen hot air balloons floating above the Arizona cactus. It made the drive more spectacular.
